This is a Ready Welder II model 10000MDP-CS which is either a battery powered (DC) welding machine or an AC spool gun (aluminum welding) when paired with a welding machine. This unit is brand new in the box and has never been used. It comes with all of the original accessories, user’s manual and locking waterproof case shown. This would be great for off-road repairs (was constantly featured on Extreme 4x4), farm maintenance or anywhere where power is limited. 599 OBO. Below is the manufacturer’s description;
Ready Welder II MIG welding system can be powered by batteries or by AC current when connected to a welding machine as a spool gun. Welds steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or any weld-able metal or alloy. This product can be used as a spool gun or as a stand-alone welder. Ready Welder II welds with, or without a gas tank, as with flux core electrode wire. It operates on two or three 12-volt DC batteries in series, producing 200 to 350 Amps of power for deep penetration of metals. For thinner metals a 12 and a 6-volt battery connected in series to produce 18 DC volts and lower Amps works great. The Ready Welder, in it's case, is light enough to be hand carried.
