Buck is a neutered Great Pyrenees / Coonhound mix. He is about 5 years old. He is a big boy, about 165 pounds, and his back comes to my hip. He is 100% housebroken and good with cats and female dogs. He has never been around kids, but he is a gentle giant, so older kids may be fine. He thinks he is a lapdog and a human baby. He is used to being in the house and doesn't chew anything, even when left alone. He is very sweet and loves people.
Now for the bad... He is not good with male dogs. He is a runner if he gets loose (I have spent 12 hours trying to catch him before). He never goes far from the house; he just won't come back when called. He seems to think it is a fun game. He hates riding in the car. He does have fleas that I have had trouble getting rid of because of all the stray cats around here.
He is looking for a home where he can get more exercise. He is a powerful dog that is too strong for me. I am disabled, so he is a bit much for me to handle. He is a very good dog, and I do love him very much, so I want potential adopters to come meet him before adopting him to make sure he is a good fit for your family. I love him and want him to have a good, loving home.
